We closed the pool today and it seems like you would have been mad at us for it. But you are not here anymore so it was easiest to close the pool than to think of you not being here to enjoy it.
I miss you boy!
Introducing Brutus
Brutus is our 10 year old lab. Recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma, we are a brand new tripawd. I met Brutus on a very snowy Presidents day weekend. Toby and I happend to be taking our morning walk in 2 feet of snow, when all of a sudden this bounding white lab comes to play with us. A few seconds later I hear “Brutus, Brutus boy slow down, come back”
“Brutus, I hope you are not in trouble” After we found the owner we decided to keep walking and playing. Turns out Brutus lived in the neighborhood accross the street.
Many months and walks together later, Brutus and Toby became a family. We moved into our house together and the pawparents got married.
It is now our turn to take very good care of you Brutus. We hope this journey is a good one for all of us.
Below is Brutus and Toby at their usual spot in my office. They keep me awake by snoring all day.
